ABOUT THE GUIDE
Welcome to your 6-week nutrition and mindset guide! My goal for you is to prepare yourself to be able to perform at your highest level and to reach your full potential. Healthy eating has been paramount in my career as a professional rugby league player. It hasn’t always been easy; as a young athlete, I had to learn to cook and adapt my lifestyle and diet to ensure I performed at my best. I used to think eating healthy was difficult, and cooking delicious, healthy meals was even harder.
My hope is that this guide will help you make healthier choices when it comes to eating and cooking - providing something relatable that motivates you to eat healthy, which in turn improves your performance to become an elite athlete.
This guide outlines how you would approach a 6-week intense training block - not only a step-by-step meal guide but also your mindset each week and how it will affect your training and change your relationship with food.
